Meet the ZetNode team

ZETNODE brings financial information, digital-asset activity and eligible investment accounts together in one workspace.

Zetnode Financial Service LLC operates the ZETNODE platform. Our infrastructure includes Coinbase Developer Platform for supported Ethereum and EVM wallet services, Tatum for Bitcoin infrastructure, and Apex Clearing Corporation for clearing and custody of eligible brokerage accounts.

Each provider serves a different purpose. The institution or wallet arrangement responsible for your assets depends on the account and product you use.

01

Our relationship with Apex

ZETNODE’s Apex relationship supports clearing and custody for eligible brokerage accounts.

Apex Clearing Corporation maintains the applicable brokerage accounts, processes transactions and provides account statements. ZETNODE provides the digital interface through which clients organize and access their account information.

Apex Clearing Corporation is an SEC-registered broker-dealer and a member of FINRA and SIPC. Its role applies to the brokerage accounts covered by the applicable agreements.

Apex does not automatically hold cryptocurrency deposited into a ZETNODE wallet. A digital-asset wallet and an Apex-supported brokerage account are separate accounts with different arrangements and protections.

Our digital-asset infrastructure

Coinbase Developer Platform

ZETNODE uses Coinbase Developer Platform, also known as CDP, to support wallet functionality for Ethereum and other supported EVM networks.

CDP provides infrastructure used to create and operate blockchain wallets. This technology connection does not, by itself, mean that your assets are deposited into a Coinbase exchange account or held under a Coinbase exchange custody agreement.

Your wallet’s authorization and recovery arrangements determine how transactions can be approved and how access can be restored.

Tatum

ZETNODE uses Tatum to support its Bitcoin infrastructure and interaction with the Bitcoin network.

Tatum provides blockchain technology used in Bitcoin account workflows. The use of Tatum does not, by itself, mean that Tatum holds your Bitcoin or has sole control over the wallet.

For a blockchain wallet, control depends on who can authorize transactions using its private keys or signing credentials.

03

How ZETNODE’s service model works

ZETNODE provides the platform experience: financial organization, account information, documents and access to supported workflows.

The infrastructure supporting each product performs a defined role. Coinbase CDP supports applicable EVM wallet services. Tatum supports Bitcoin infrastructure. Apex provides clearing and custody for eligible brokerage accounts.

These services are connected through the ZETNODE experience, but their responsibilities remain distinct. A provider’s role in one product does not extend automatically to every account or asset shown on the platform.

04

Where your money goes

When you deposit cryptocurrency

A cryptocurrency transfer goes to the receiving address on the blockchain network you select. The asset and network must match the deposit instructions for that account.

A confirmed deposit records a transfer to that blockchain address. It does not, by itself, establish that the funds have been converted into dollars, transferred to Apex or used to purchase an investment.

Wallet infrastructure, control of the receiving address and any subsequent movement of funds are separate parts of the transaction.

When you fund a brokerage account

A brokerage deposit follows the funding instructions for the applicable account. Those instructions identify the receiving institution and the information needed to allocate the transfer correctly.

For eligible accounts carried by Apex Clearing Corporation, brokerage assets are held through Apex under the applicable account agreement.

When you invest

Funding an account and purchasing an investment are separate actions. Your investment allocation determines what you own.

If a supported workflow involves converting cryptocurrency into cash and transferring it to a brokerage account, the conversion and onward transfer are separate transactions. A crypto wallet balance should not be treated as an Apex brokerage balance before those steps are complete.

05

Who holds or controls your assets

For eligible Apex-supported brokerage accounts, Apex Clearing Corporation provides custody of the brokerage assets.

For digital assets, balances and transactions are recorded on the applicable blockchain. The ability to move those assets depends on the wallet’s signing and authorization arrangements.

Owning an asset, accessing it through the ZETNODE interface and controlling the credentials that authorize transfers are different things. A wallet address or an account balance alone does not establish exclusive control of the private keys.

06

Security and account protection

Security involves several layers: access to your ZETNODE account, authorization of wallet transactions, protection of signing credentials and the controls of the institution servicing the applicable financial account.

Coinbase CDP and Tatum provide security features within their respective infrastructure products. The protections applicable to a particular wallet depend on the product and configuration used.

Technology safeguards reduce particular risks; they do not guarantee investment returns or eliminate the possibility of loss. Blockchain transfers can be irreversible, and sending assets to an incorrect address or unsupported network can result in permanent loss.

Brokerage protection

Apex Clearing Corporation is a member of SIPC. SIPC helps protect eligible customers when a member brokerage fails and customer securities or qualifying cash are missing, subject to statutory limits and conditions.

SIPC protection is generally limited to $500,000 per customer in a separate capacity, including up to $250,000 for cash. It does not cover losses caused by falling investment values.

These protections do not extend automatically to cryptocurrency wallets or transfers because the platform also offers an Apex-supported brokerage account. Digital assets that do not qualify for SIPC protection are not covered.

07

Withdrawals and transfers

A cryptocurrency withdrawal is a blockchain transaction to a destination address. It depends on the applicable authorization process, network fees and network confirmation.

A brokerage withdrawal follows the account’s withdrawal process. Investment sale proceeds may need to settle before they become available, and verification requirements or other account restrictions may apply.

The withdrawal route depends on the account holding the assets. A crypto withdrawal and a brokerage cash withdrawal are different transactions.

What ZetNode does

ZetNode brings financial records, planning tools, documents, and service coordination into one workspace. External providers have the execution, custody, and account-servicing responsibilities specified in the agreement for each product.

What you pay for

Funding an account, paying for a service, and authorizing an investment are separate actions. Your service agreement sets out applicable ZetNode charges. Provider commissions, spreads, conversion costs, network fees, and withdrawal charges are separate where applicable; review them before proceeding.

What your account level means

Core, Premium, and Private describe your relationship level and access to services. They are not investment products, interest rates, or promises of returns. Money deposited is not automatically invested.

Foreign exchange / FX

Currency conversion.
Currency trading.
Different decisions.

Converting currency

You exchange one currency for another to fund an account or make a payment. Check the rate, conversion charge, legal recipient, and final currency received. A conversion is not, by itself, an investment allocation.

Taking an FX position

You take a view on one currency relative to another. EUR/USD expresses the dollar value of one euro. A long position benefits if the euro rises against the dollar, and loses if it falls, before costs. This is distinct from owning shares or funding a crypto wallet.

What the dashboard ticket does

The current FX ticket records practice positions in your browser. It does not route those positions to a broker, exchange your money, or generate withdrawable profits.

Separately arranged live trading must be supported by an authorization, a named executing provider, and an execution confirmation. A chart or dashboard position is not that confirmation.

Before a live FX trade

  • Identify the dealer and who holds the funds.
  • Review spreads, commissions, and any financing costs.
  • Understand leverage, potential losses, and withdrawal restrictions.
  • Check the protections for that particular account, not an unrelated securities or crypto product.
